Sourced from the Utcubamba highlands in Peru’s Amazonas region, this Organic Grade 1 decaf comes from smallholder producers affiliated with JUMARP (Asociación de Productores Cafetaleros Juan Marco El Palto), working within the lush Selva Alta rainforest ecosystem. Grown at elevations between 1,200 and 1,750 meters above sea level, these coffees benefit from cool mountain air, rich soil, and the careful stewardship Peru is known for as a global leader in organic coffee production.
Roasted dark for depth and comfort, this profile delivers a velvety, full-bodied cup with notes of dark chocolate, buttery toffee, and toasted walnut, balanced by subtle highlights of blackcurrant and citrus that keep the finish from ever feeling flat. The coffee is fully washed at origin, then decaffeinated using the Swiss Water® Process — a 100% chemical-free method that removes 99.9% of caffeine while preserving the coffee’s natural structure, sweetness, and acidity. By relying on water, time, and temperature (not solvents), Swiss Water allows this Peru to remain exactly what it is: real coffee, just without the buzz.

☕ Coffee Returns
Because coffee is a perishable, consumable product, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges on any of our ground or whole bea coffees regardless of roast level or bag size. This is for quality control and health safety reasons.
If something went wrong with your order, such as never receiving your order, receiving the wrong item(s) or your coffee wasn’t up to our usual standards, please reach out—we’re here to make it right.

Wrong size? Wrong item? Don’t sweat it. We’re happy to offer exchanges on unused, unworn, and unwashed apparel within 14 days of delivery. If we sent you an incorrect item, we will provide you with a pre-paid return label. If the correct item was sent and you have decided you no longer want the item, we do ask that you pay for return shipping.
